Tell us your experience. Are dental problems negatively affecting your life?
Everyone deserves healthy teeth
Arcora Foundation is working to restore dental coverage for Medicaid-insured adults. Coverage was eliminated in 2011, and has since been reinstated only for pregnant women, people in long term care, and developmentally disabled. There are still far too many adults on Medicaid without access to dental care. People with diabetes are especially at risk for oral disease, access to oral health care is important for maintaining good oral and overall health.
How You Can Help
People involved with Medicaid need to know how untreated dental problems and pain can negatively affect someoneβs life. You can help by sharing your experience. We want to hear about how the lack of dental care has affected you and your family.
Speak out and encourage others to do the same. Tell us why dental care is important.
How stories will be used
The information you provide will be used to communicate with policymakers. Stories will be included in written materials and with permission may be shared with the media. The goal is to illustrate the need for dental care and how people are negatively affected when care is not available.
